Undergraduate Program

We are one of approximately 250 mechanical engineering programs accredited by ABET. We offer an undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Accreditation guarantees our students, employers, and funding agencies of our high quality program. In addition to more formal classroom instruction, the department supports undergraduate education through internship opportunities and its graduate programs, which bring cutting-edge technology and research into the classroom and offer students hands-on experiences. 128 credit-hours are required for graduation for students entering under catalogs dated Academic Year 2006-2007 and earlier, and 130 credit-hours are required for graduation for students entering under catalogs dated Academic Year 2007-2008 and later.
